The Toronto Resale Price Index

What resale asks in Toronto today: sneakers and each Jordan line, Chrome Hearts, Supreme, bags and tops, counted from every live listing on the boutiques within lists. Asking prices, in Canadian dollars, with the date on every number.

The index today

Each row counts the pieces on a Toronto shelf carrying that segment on 11 September 2026, and the three prices are the cheapest, the middle and the dearest of them. The middle number is a price a piece is actually asking, never an average of two. A segment needs 10 live pieces before it states a median at all.

Counted 11 September 2026, 4,659 live pieces at Utopia and WDLT117 in Toronto, in Canadian dollars.

Pre owned against new

1,425 of the 4,659 pieces counted, 31 percent, carry a resale grade the boutique wrote itself: pre owned, lightly used, worn once or vintage. They ask $50 to $21,000, median $400. Only 1 listing says in so many words that the piece is new, which is under the 3 a median needs, so this index prints no new median to set the resale one against. That is what the shelves say today, and saying so is more use than filling the gap. 3,233 listings state no condition at all and are counted in the totals and in neither half.

How this index is counted

What is counted: every live listing on the Toronto boutiques listed on within, read from each shop's own register on 11 September 2026. 4,659 pieces cleared that reading: Utopia (3,733 pieces), WDLT117 (926 pieces).

The price on each is the price the boutique is asking, in Canadian dollars, and within adds nothing to it and takes nothing off. The condition is the one the listing itself states, in the boutique's own words: pre owned, lightly used, worn once or vintage. A piece whose listing states no condition is counted in the totals and in neither half of the condition split.

What the median means here: the lower of the two middle prices, never an average. Every number on this page is therefore a price some piece in Toronto is actually asking today, not a figure arrived at by arithmetic on other figures. A segment needs 10 live pieces before it states a median, and 3 pieces on each side before the pre owned and the stated new medians are printed against each other.

What is not counted: sold prices. within does not hold them and does not estimate them, so nothing here is a record of what anything sold for. Auction results, other marketplaces and completed listings elsewhere are not read. within does not buy, sell, authenticate or grade any of these pieces; the boutique that owns a piece sets its price and states its condition, and this index counts what the shops say.

This reading was taken on 11 September 2026. The index is read again on the first of each month and the reading is kept, so the table of months on this page is the series rather than a single day. The numbers move as the shelves move.
