This is built for a room with a ceiling and a shower. Pleated trousers with a waistband that gives after lunch, a fine knit that holds its shape through four hours in a leather chair, shoes you can cross a terminal in, and a bag with a flat base that stays upright when you set it down beside you.
The trouble with dressing for the lounge is that the lounge takes ninety minutes and the flight takes nine hours. By the third hour the trousers have surrendered their crease, by the sixth your feet have gone up half a size, and the shoes chosen for a carpeted room start charging you for it. Nobody in seat 24C is reading your knitwear.
