When you join, within puts your items into Google's free Shopping listings for you. Each boutique has its own Merchant Center account under within's, and we build the feed, keep it current and read Google's notes on it. You never touch a feed file.

HOW IT WORKS

  1. Connect your store

    Your items, photographs, prices and stock come across from the store you already run.

  2. We build the feed

    Every item goes into a product feed for Google, made from your stock as it stands. Google reads it every day.

  3. Google lists it

    Your items can show in Google's free listings and on the Shopping tab, each one linking to its own page on within.

  4. Get paid

    On Shopify the shopper pays on your own checkout, and on Square the sale lands in your Square. On Squarespace, WooCommerce and Lightspeed, within pays your share to your bank.

  5. Sold is sold

    An item that sells in the shop comes off within, and out of the next feed Google reads.

  • Google can also show your items as in stock at your shop, on Search and Maps, to people nearby. These free local listings need your Google Business Profile linked to your boutique's Merchant Center account. within keeps the daily list of what is on your shop floor.

WHAT BOUTIQUES ASK

Do I need my own Merchant Center account?
No. Your boutique gets its own account under within's, and within runs it: the feed, the checks and anything Google flags.
Do I pay Google for these listings?
No. They are Google's free listings.
Do I have to make a spreadsheet?
No. The feed is made from the stock within already reads from your store.
What does it cost to join?
Nothing to join and nothing each month. within is paid only on a sale it brings you, at the rate shown before you approve it.
Which stores connect?
Shopify, Square, Squarespace, WooCommerce and Lightspeed Retail. On Shopify, install the app; on the rest, connect at connect.shopwithin.co.
Who reads the request?
The founders. We answer every request by email.
