Louis Vuitton has two Montreal boutiques: inside Holt Renfrew Ogilvy at 1307 Rue Sainte-Catherine Ouest, and at Royalmount, 5401 Avenue Royalmount. Both are on the brand's own Canadian store pages, read on 11 September 2026.

Ogilvy opens 10am to 6pm Monday to Wednesday, 10am to 8pm Thursday and Friday, 10am to 7pm Saturday and 11am to 6pm Sunday, phone +1 514 849 6520. Royalmount opens 10am to 7pm Monday and Tuesday, 10am to 9pm Wednesday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Saturday and 10am to 5pm Sunday, phone +1 866 884 8866 (source: ca.louisvuitton.com, read 11 September 2026).

For a visit built around one bag or shoe, confirm the exact model before planning the rest of the day. The Toronto house count gives a separate comparison: within's shelf held 75 Louis Vuitton pieces on 11 September 2026, including 27 sneakers, and none of that is Montreal stock.

The useful comparison has three parts: the item itself, the total asking price and the terms attached to the sale. Keep those details together. A lower price means little if the listing leaves the condition or model unclear.

Louis Vuitton Montreal and the brand visit

Start with the name or product reference of the piece you want. Add the size, material and colour to your note. A photograph helps explain the request, but a similar looking bag can still be a different model.

The two store pages list different services. Ogilvy offers collect in store; Royalmount lists hot stamping, engraving and the Now Yours personalisation service, and both pages ask you to contact the store for the full list (source: ca.louisvuitton.com, read 11 September 2026). Ask the boutique to confirm availability before treating the visit as a chance to try the piece.

Keep your shortlist short enough to compare in person. Put the bag's measurements beside an object you carry daily, or note the shoe size you want to try. The visit should answer a fit or use question that photographs have left open.

If the purchase is a gift, read the exchange terms first. Louis Vuitton Canada takes returns within 30 days of purchase on merchandise in perfect, saleable condition with the receipt; personalised, hot stamped and engraved pieces are final sale, and a piece bought inside a department store is refunded only at that department store (source: ca.louisvuitton.com, return and exchange policy, read 11 September 2026). Save the terms with the receipt.

Louis Vuitton handbags Canada and Montreal consignment

The Montreal boutique guide covers a wider city shopping task, and the Montreal directory listed 29 shops on 11 September 2026. Five of them are consignment rooms. Each was read on its own site the same day.

Carte Blanche Shop, 1136 Avenue du Mont-Royal Est, opens 11am to 6pm Monday to Wednesday, 11am to 7pm Thursday to Saturday and noon to 6pm Sunday, by appointment. Its site listed a Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM in monogram at CAD 1,800 and a black Mahina Boho XL at CAD 2,500 on 11 September 2026 (source: carteblancheshop.com).

RETYCHE, 2305 Chemin Rockland in Mount Royal, runs a Louis Vuitton collection on its site and listed a Tuileries Besace in monogram canvas at CAD 2,599 the same day (source: retyche.com). RUSE at 5141 Boulevard Saint-Laurent describes itself as luxury clothing and accessories consignment on its own site, with no Louis Vuitton stock shown on the page read.

Le Dressing Montréal, 3854 Rue Saint-Denis, opens noon to 6pm Tuesday to Friday and noon to 5pm on the weekend, selling new and pre owned womenswear, with no Louis Vuitton on the page read. Vintage Musts, 1 Westmount Square, suite CK 05, opens 10am to 5pm Monday to Saturday and sells designer vintage, with Dior on the page and no Louis Vuitton (sources: ledressingmontreal.com and vintagemusts.com, read 11 September 2026).

Send a clear enquiry instead of asking only whether a shop has the brand. Name the model, give your maximum budget and say which condition issues you will accept. Request current photographs of the actual piece before arranging a visit.

Ask who assessed the item, which documents come with it and what happens if its description proves wrong. Read the shop's answer with the specific item in front of you. A category label alone cannot answer those questions.

Louis Vuitton bags prices need an exact match

The local within house count dated 11 September 2026 records 75 Louis Vuitton pieces. Of those, 27 were classified as sneakers. The Louis Vuitton shelf belongs to Toronto, and this count does not measure Montreal availability.

That distinction matters when comparing bags. Seventy five house pieces does not mean seventy five handbags. The count also cannot tell you what a Montreal seller asks for a particular bag.

For wider context, the Toronto resale index recorded 104 bag listings on 11 September 2026 at a CAD 1,000 median ask. That category includes different houses. Use the Toronto index as category context, without treating it as a Louis Vuitton valuation.

Compare prices only after matching the model, size and material. Then record the condition, included accessories and any repair history the seller states. Keep every figure labelled as an asking price unless you have a separate record of a completed sale.

Match the piece before comparing the price.

Make the Montreal visit useful

Choose one confirmed item to inspect and one nearby shop for browsing. Use the Montreal directory to check the addresses, then ask each shop about its present hours. Avoid promising yourself a full shopping route before the main appointment is settled.

At the counter, compare the actual item with the description you saved. Look inside the bag and inspect the corners, handles and closures. Ask the seller to explain any wear that was difficult to see in the photographs.

For footwear, use the Louis Vuitton sneaker shelf as a separate Toronto comparison. Read the size and condition on each pair. The recorded sneaker count cannot establish that a pair will fit or ship to Montreal.
