How A.P.C. fits
A.P.C.'s denim FAQ says that in raw denim "the advice is to size down from your usual", because the jeans stretch out.

Common questions
Should I size down in A.P.C. jeans?
In raw denim, yes: A.P.C.'s own denim FAQ says to size down from your usual size, because raw denim stretches. In stretch denim it says to take your usual size. Its men's fit guide says the Petit New Standard runs small, and that sizing up is generally recommended for that cut.
Do A.P.C. jeans shrink?
A little. A.P.C. says all its denim is sanforized, so a jean shrinks a little at the first wash, but not by two sizes, and it relaxes back as you wear it.
What is a women's M in A.P.C. in US sizes?
On A.P.C.'s size guide a women's M is an EU 38 and a US 4/6. The same sizes apply to dresses, tops, outerwear, bottoms and jumpsuits.
What is an EU 42 A.P.C. shoe in US sizes?
On A.P.C.'s men's shoe chart an EU 42 is a US 9. On its women's chart the sizes run from EU 35, a US 5, to EU 40, a US 10.
