Foot length and how to measure

On Nike's charts, a men's 8.5 fits a foot 25.8 cm long and a women's 8.5 fits 25 cm.

Where a maker prints a foot length, a men's 8.5 runs from 25.8 cm at Nike to 27 cm at Maison Margiela.

For a women's 8.5 it runs from 25 cm at Nike to 25.5 cm at Dr. Martens.

To measure, stand on a sheet of paper, mark your heel and the tip of your longest toe, and measure between the marks. Do both feet and use the longer one.
