Designer sale news, 8 November: 2,225 items marked down

I would not wait for Black Friday on 27 November, 19 days away, for anything you really want. Prices may drop again before then. But an item with one size left only has to sell once.

The week's trending chart says where to look first. All eight designers on it have something marked down. Coperni is the plainest example: Google searches for it are 8.9 times the usual this week, and 23 of its 31 items in stock are on sale.

Due West has 1,264 on sale and Outlined has nearly everything

Due West holds more than half of the day's sale items on its own. Outlined is a much smaller shop but goes further, with 392 of its 448 items marked down, the highest share of the five.

T-shirts are the biggest group on sale at 511, then pants and jeans at 308 and sneakers at 255. For a winter coat, 203 jackets and coats are marked down, and Canada Goose alone has 69 of its 74 items on sale.

Coperni is the chart's busiest name and 23 of its 31 items are on sale

Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant started Coperni in Paris in 2013, after meeting at a fashion school there in 2009. Google searches for it are 8.9 times the usual this week, the highest of the eight designers on the chart. Its DB Tailored Jacket in black is new to the list at No. 10, at CAD 1,099.

Y-3 is next, the label Yohji Yamamoto started with adidas in 2002. It has 26 of its 77 items marked down, with searches at 5.3 times the usual.

Marine Serre won the LVMH Prize in 2017, a year after leaving La Cambre in Belgium, and has 12 of 30 items marked down, at 7.6 times the usual. (Song for the Mute has the longest list of the eight, 35 of its 78 items.)

New at the top of the chart this week

The Homme Plissé Issey Miyake Tailored Pleats Long Jacket came in at No. 1, at CAD 1,495. A Chrome Hearts Friends and Family hoodie jumped from No. 15 to No. 2, at CAD 4,500. The Gucci x The North Face down jacket moved from No. 7 to No. 3, at CAD 1,500.

A Moncler Montgenvre jacket, pre owned in size S, entered at No. 5 for CAD 1,400. At No. 7 is a Guidi back zip boot at CAD 2,050, from a company that began as a tannery in Pescia, Tuscany, in 1896.

Rosetta Getty sandals lead the deep cuts at CAD 179

These six are among the deepest cuts on items that were CAD 300 or more before the sale, each at the boutique's own printed was price.

The biggest cut in dollars is at WDLT117, where the Stalvey Trapezoid 1.55 Mini in lemon is CAD 6,949, was CAD 15,995.

More than half of what is on sale has one size left. That is the real deadline.

Chrome Hearts, Amiri and two Jordans came in during the last day

Four new items showed up in the last 24 hours. Utopia took in a Chrome Hearts Keeper Ring, worn once, size 12, at CAD 3,000.

It also has the Amiri Waxed Leather MX1 Jeans, lightly used, size 36, at CAD 600, and the Jordan 15 Retro SP Black Pack, also CAD 600. Outlined has the Air Jordan 14 Black Pack at CAD 480.

Utopia has added the most in the last 7 days, 50 items, against 9 at Outlined, 7 at WDLT117 and 3 at Due West.
