Due West on Queen West: 2,215 pieces and 221 down coats
Due West at 431 Queen Street West, read through its own stock: 104 labels, the deepest Mackage and Moose Knuckles wall on within, and its sizes.
Due West holds 2,215 pieces from 104 labels at 431 Queen Street West. Two hundred and twenty one of them come from three Canadian down houses.
That is Mackage, Moose Knuckles and Canada Goose, hung in one shop at Queen and Soho. It joined within on 29 September 2026, so its whole register is now readable, and this note reads it.
The shop describes itself as a luxury boutique, gallery and studio merged into one, with "over 30 years at the forefront of Canadian style." Its own line about the corner is better: the neighbourhood, it says, connects "new and old, bold and reserved."

The down wall
Three Canadian houses fill about half the coat rail, 195 of its 397 outerwear pieces. Each is deeper here than anywhere else on within.
Across all six boutiques we list, there are 80 Moose Knuckles pieces, 78 Canada Goose and 75 Mackage. Due West holds 78, 73 and 70 of them.
Mackage is the dearest of the three. Eran Elfassy and Elisa Dahan founded it in Montreal in 1999, according to the McCord Stewart Museum. Its 70 pieces here run $395 to $2,390, and 69 of them are outerwear.
The top is the Nicholas down parka in black at $2,390, one left, in a size 40. The Robert down jacket is $2,190, and the Phillip down jacket is the way in at $395.
Moose Knuckles, founded in 2009 and based in Montreal by its own account, runs $479 to $1,995 over 78 pieces. Of those, 75 are outerwear. The Pioneer down bomber in black patchwork is $1,995, cut for men and for women.
The Stirling shearling parka is $1,495. The women's Original down vest, at $479, is the cheapest Moose Knuckles on the shelf.
Canada Goose is the widest. Its 73 pieces run from $69 Paw Mitts for a baby to $1,795 for the women's Expedition PBI parka in royal blue.
That parka has 27 units in stock, all in XS and XXS. The Lorette Black Label parka, at $1,545, has 16.
The wall leans to women. By the shop's own titles, 148 of the 221 are women's: 49 Mackage, 51 Moose Knuckles and 48 Canada Goose.
Beyond the three, the coat rail adds Herno, COOR and Stutterheim. A Herno goat suede jacket is $2,185, a COOR shearling aviator flight jacket $1,795, and a Stutterheim Stockholm raincoat $420.
By the shop's own product types, 397 pieces are jackets, parkas, bombers, vests or down. Our winter coat guide sets these against the rest of the city.
Y-3, Porter and A.P.C.
The second rail is quieter. Y-3 holds 76 pieces at $39 to $895, from running socks to an embroidered satin souvenir jacket. A pair of Y-3 Superstar sneakers is $495.
Porter, the bag brand of the Tokyo company Yoshida, has 12 pieces at $395 to $895. The Unit shoulder bag is the entry at $395, and the Force 2Way duffle is the top at $895. Both labels sit in our Japanese designer brands note.
A.P.C. has 30 pieces at $125 to $559, with SOLAL jeans at $259.
Drôle de Monsieur has 72 at $85 to $795. Les Deux has 123, from a $19 Late Night Service Cup to a red varsity jacket at $869.
Wales Bonner arrives through its adidas and Y-3 collaborations, 33 pieces at $69 to $415. The Gazelle Pony is $235 with 28 units in stock, the deepest single piece in the shop. Song for the Mute's adidas Tokyo sneaker is $169, and the label has its own note.
Los Angeles denim and the gym
The loudest rail is the American one. Purple Brand has 79 pieces at $89 to $715, with the P005 jean at $383.
Rhude has 27 at $239 to $1,295, from 90S Traxedo jeans at $579 to a camouflage jacket at $1,295. Ksubi has 52 at $85 to $625, and the Maxx Astral Kraft jean is $420.
The deepest label in the building is a gym label. ASRV holds 138 pieces at $55 to $365, ahead of Les Deux at 123 and Represent at 92.
The jewellery case is short and heavy. Emanuele Bicocchi has 49 pieces, with a Fleury Cross Rose necklace at $895. M.Cohen by MAOR has 31, and its Dryp bracelet is $995.
Sizes, and who the shop is cut for
The size run is built around a medium. Among letter sizes in stock, 880 listings carry an M, 820 an S, 766 an L and 410 an XL. Only 66 carry an XS, and 1 carries an XXL.
So a small shopper does well here and a big one does not. Of the pieces with a gender tag, 1,604 are for men and 205 for women, though the coat wall leans the other way.
Most of the shelf sits well under the coats, with a median piece at $205. The cheapest is $19, and 1,346 of the 2,215 pieces show the shop's own compare at price above the asking price.
Before you go
The shop is at 431 Queen Street West, at Soho, beside Chinatown. On within its hours read Monday to Saturday 11 to 7 and Sunday 12 to 5. The phone is 416-593-6267.
Inside, the 5,000 square foot floor runs on bronze and reclaimed wood shelving with burnished metal and glass cases. The interior was recognised for design excellence at the 2015 ARIDO awards, by the shop's own account.
Its return policy, as it gives it, lasts 30 days, and the item must be unused. Try a parka on before you pay: on this shelf Mackage sizes its men's down in numbers, 38 to 44.
On within the shelf you see is the shelf on Queen West: the shop keeps its own register, and we take a commission only on what we sell for it. The Due West shelf carries every piece above, and the Queen West guide covers the rest of the strip.
