About Mackage
Eran Elfassy founded Mackage in Montreal in 1999. Elisa Dahan, his friend since elementary school, joined him two years later, and they developed the label together. It grew out of a contemporary leather collection Elfassy made at his brothers' leather company. They moved from leather jackets to wool jackets with leather details. Elfassy said every coat they found back then was boxy and big. It added menswear in 2008, a children's line in 2012 and handbags in 2013. Its head office is still in Montreal. In May 2026 it launched its first sneaker, the Luka, in a World Cup capsule for Croatia's national football team.
