Yes, Cettire is legit: an Australian company launched in 2017, listed on the ASX and billing Canadians in CAD. Its checkout shows duties and taxes, which its shipping page says are included in your order.

In Canada, the risk is the return clock, not customs. Duties and taxes sit in the checkout total. Going back is the hard part: its Canadian pages, read 3 October 2026, say returns must arrive within 14 days of the parcel landing.

Quick facts

  • Company: Cettire, launched in 2017, listed on the ASX as CTT.
  • Shipping: free over CAD 300, 3 to 10 business days by DHL, FedEx or UPS.
  • Duty: included at checkout as an estimate; by courier from outside the US and Mexico, owed above CAD 20.
  • Returns: must arrive within 14 days of delivery, on Cettire's own labels, with no exchanges.
  • Cancelling: free for 24 hours, then CAD 30.
  • On within: 8,056 pieces from 341 designers at six boutiques; Balenciaga from $200 across 91 pieces and Prada from $200, read 3 October 2026.

Cettire is a listed Australian company

Cettire is a trading name of Ark Technologies Pty. Ltd., based at 140 William Street, Melbourne. On 29 September 2026 it released its annual report, and its next trading update is set for 18 November 2026.

Prada, Gucci, Saint Laurent, Balenciaga and Valentino are the names its about page gives from over 2,500 designers. The investor site counts 657,000 active customers in 56 markets and 500,000 products, reached "via its contracted supply network" as at August 2025. None of the four Canadian pages we read calls Cettire an authorised retailer of those labels.

The checkout total against the border's own rule

Cettire's terms call the checkout's duty line an estimate that "may vary" from what customs charges. If you refuse the parcel, the shipping, any import fees and the trip back come off your refund.

The duty line matters because, by courier, duty and tax apply above CAD 20 from every country but the US and Mexico, says the Canada Border Services Agency. From those two, taxes start above CAD 40 and duty above CAD 150. The duty on most clothing is 17 or 18 per cent, before any tax, as the note on duty on clothes into Canada explains.

The 14 days start when the parcel lands

A shoe that pinches has to travel fast: Cettire's Canadian page says "Returns must arrive at our location within 14 days from the date the package is received." Pieces go back new and unused with every designer tag, shoes in their original boxes; final sale cannot go back. With no exchanges, a different size means a return, a refund in up to 10 working days and a new order.

Starting a return hands Cettire any right to "duty drawback" on the item, and title to the goods. The pages do not say if the duty comes back with your refund.

Cettire counts 14 days to the day your return arrives, not the day you send it.

For the one who would rather hold it first

If the clock bothers you, buy off a real shelf with no border in the way. within lists six independent boutiques, all in Toronto, with prices in CAD and collection at the counter where the shop offers it.

Start with Balenciaga at Utopia, 91 pieces from $200 at 132 Cumberland Street, a resale counter. The shop's policy says "All sales are final," and how returns work explains that each shop, not within, sets the terms. The trade at that counter: a fraction of Cettire's choice and no returns, against a piece you can hold with no 14 day clock.

Before you pay

Before the card comes out, screenshot the checkout's duty line and the returns page, so you hold Cettire's own words on the day you need them. Order a size you have already worn in that label, since the clock leaves little room to learn a new cut. Pay by card (Afterpay works too, up to CAD 2000 per order), and if doubt sets in overnight, cancel inside 24 hours; after that it costs CAD 30.

When the parcel lands, count 14 days from the delivery date and take off the courier's trip back: that is your last day to send. On a resale bag from any shop, ask for photos of every flaw before you buy; Utopia's pre owned listings already show them. Duty, clock and size are the checks for any site that sends a designer piece across a border.

Common questions

Is Cettire a legitimate website?

Yes: Cettire launched in 2017 and trades on the ASX as CTT. Its FAQ says "We only sell new items" and "All products are guaranteed to be authentic." Plan around the 14 day arrival rule for returns.

Does Cettire charge duties to Canada?

Yes, up front: duties and taxes "are included in your order" and "specified in the checkout." Its terms call that an estimate customs may not match.

Are returns free at Cettire?

The Canadian pages do not say: none of them prints a price for a return label. They do set the rules: arrival within 14 days, Cettire's own labels only, no exchanges.

Is Cettire a Canadian company?

No: Cettire is a trading name of Ark Technologies Pty. Ltd., registered in Australia. Cettire Canada Limited, registered at 15 Wellesley Street West, Toronto, may handle Canadian payments, its terms say.
