Foot length and how to measure
On Nike's charts, EU 38 fits a foot 23.3 cm long on the men's chart and 23.7 cm on the women's.
Where a maker prints a foot length for EU 38, it runs from 23.3 cm at Nike to 24.7 cm at Maison Margiela.
To measure, stand on a sheet of paper, mark your heel and the tip of your longest toe, and measure between the marks. Do both feet and use the longer one.
