Rick Owens Geobasket: price, sizing and where to buy

The cheaper route is pre owned. Utopia, a Toronto shop with US delivery, held two pairs that day. One is a black and milk Mega Bumper Geobasket at CAD 1,000 (USD 709), and the other a pink pony hair Geobasket at CAD 1,400 (USD 992).

Both are listed as a 13, and one of those labels needs a second look before you pay. Every other size starts with the Rick Owens sneakers on the shelf or the brand's own store.

What a new pair costs on rickowens.eu

Rick Owens sells the Geobasket in several builds, and the build sets the price. These are the numbers on its US and Canadian stores on 8 November 2026.

The brand describes the standard pair as above ankle height, with an extended tongue, a webbing tab, geometric panels, an inside zip and a shark tooth bumper sole. I would buy the black and milk calf at CAD 1,615. The Mega adds CAD 335 for a bigger version of the same idea, and I don't think the shoe needs help being big.

Stock is thin on the cheapest listing. The USD 1,190 pair showed 2 of its 17 sizes that day, and the USD 1,325 pair showed 3 of 13. Check your size before you settle on a price.

Mimi Lombardo wrote in Robb Report on 2 October 2024 that Owens showed the sneaker at Pitti Uomo in 2006. The article says it was first called the Dunk, and that the name changed after Nike took legal action. It quotes him on what he was after: "I wanted monster trucks for my feet."

The two pre owned pairs in Toronto

The Mega Bumper at that shop has no original box and is CAD 1,000. A new Mega Bumper on the brand's store was CAD 1,700 the same day, so you save CAD 700 by taking a pair someone has already worn.

The pony hair pair in pink and milk is CAD 1,400. I found no pony hair Geobasket on the brand's store that day, so that price stands alone. It is also the louder of the two by some distance.

Older pairs have a market of their own. Daniel So wrote in Complex on 28 May 2015 that Geobaskets from 2008 could run upwards of USD 2,000.

Both ship from Toronto, with free delivery to the US on orders over CAD 300, by the shop's shipping terms. The sale is final. US customs can add duty at the border, and the duty calculator shows you that figure before you pay.

How a Geobasket is sized

Rick Owens prints a chart on every Geobasket page and no advice on going up or down. EU 44 is UK 10 and US 11, so a US size is the EU number minus 33. Half sizes such as 39½ exist on the brand's store.

The Mega Bumper is the pair that needs a second look. The boutique's listing reads "Size 47/13M", and the size button on the page says US men's 13. On Rick Owens' chart, EU 47 is UK 13 and US 14.

On Rick Owens' own chart, a size 13 can be two different shoes.

New pairs come from rickowens.eu, whose US page prints "taxes and fees included" under shipping. Saks listed a Geobasket at USD 1,325 on 8 November 2026, the same price as the brand's own black and milk pair.
