SSENSE gives you 30 calendar days from delivery, and returns are free from Canada, the US and Japan. Farfetch also gives 30 days and a free label. Neither refunds your original shipping.

SSENSE, in its own words

The rule is short. "The return must be requested within 30 calendar days of the delivery date."

Cost depends on where you are. Canada, the United States and Japan get a prepaid label and, in SSENSE's words, "customers receive free shipping for returns".

Five countries pay a Return Transportation Fee out of the refund. Australia AUD 60, China USD 50, Hong Kong HKD 375, South Korea USD 60, the United Kingdom GBP 34. Everywhere else, you arrange and pay for the return yourself.

What SSENSE will not take back

Shipping fees are never refunded. Neither are final sale items, and the list is specific.

Face masks and coverings, on hygiene grounds. Sexual wellness toys. Candles, fragrances, oils, pressurised cans and electronics containing batteries, all as dangerous goods.

Another group comes back only if it is intact. Lingerie, hosiery, underwear, swimsuits and bikini bottoms need the hygienic sticker on. Self care and technology have to be sealed.

No restocking fee appears anywhere on the page. SSENSE also states plainly that it runs no direct exchanges, so a wrong size means a return and a new order.

Farfetch, and the duty question

Farfetch matches the window: "we accept returns within 30 days, starting from the day your order was delivered." You can book a free collection or drop it off free.

Duty is where the two part company. If your order went to a Delivery Duties Paid destination, Farfetch says taxes and duties are refundable. If it went to a Delivery At Place destination, they are not.

Farfetch does not say which of the two Canada is. Until it does, a Canadian buyer cannot know whether the duty comes back, and that is a question for its help desk before you order.

Both give you 30 days. Only one tells you whether your duty comes back, and only sometimes.

Neither page carries a date

SSENSE's return policy has no effective date and no version number. Farfetch's has neither. Both footers read 2026 and nothing more.

A policy with no date can change between your order and your return. Save a copy of the page on the day you buy.

What within counts instead

Two Toronto boutiques held 4,834 pieces from 224 designers on 20 September 2026, priced in Canadian dollars from CAD 10 to CAD 25,000.

Before you buy

Screenshot the return page on the day you order, and note the delivery date the moment the parcel lands. That date, not the order date, starts both clocks.

Thirty days from delivery, a free return label, and a refund to the original payment method. That refund takes up to 6 calendar days to process and up to 14 days to show. Account credit is an alternative, though not in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Australia or India.
