Where to buy Marine Serre in Toronto, and whether the moon lasts
On 30 August 2026 WDLT117 held 35 Marine Serre pieces and 79 variants in stock. Where the moon came from, how second skin fits, and whether it dates.

On 30 August 2026 our own database counted 35 published Marine Serre products at WDLT117, 7 St Thomas Street, Unit 101, with 79 variants in stock and prices from $49 for a pair of jacquard socks to $1,999 for outerwear. The shop's own collection page returns the same 35. Type the brand with a city attached and most of what comes back ships from somewhere else.
On the rail that morning: the moon printed second skin crewneck at $455, the jacquard cardigan in grey at $699, the printed jersey biker shorts at $365, the ribbed logo cropped tank at $260, an athleisure visor at $295. Hours on the shop's own page run Monday through Saturday noon to seven, Sunday noon to six, though other listings around town disagree, so ring 437.777.9358 first. The townhouse and the rest of the buy are in our profile of the shop.
The moon is ten years old, which is the whole argument
Marine Serre graduated from La Cambre in Brussels in 2016 with a collection called Radical Call for Love. The crescent moon was already on it. She won the LVMH Prize in 2017 at twenty five, against roughly 1,200 applicants, and showed her first Paris runway collection in February 2018. Before that she interned under Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen and Raf Simons at Dior, and designed at Balenciaga.
Serre has called the moon a flag and a language, an object of what the house believes in: hybridity and freedom. It was a manifesto before it was a logo, which is why it prints edge to edge instead of sitting on a chest.
Here is the fact nobody puts in the caption. In September 2019 the house applied to register the repeating moon pattern as a European trademark; the EUIPO refused it that October and held to the refusal on 11 February 2020, finding that the pattern "gives no indication of the commercial origin of the products." The office allowed that a single crescent beside the designer's name would be perfectly acceptable. The most recognisable print of the last decade is, on paper, wallpaper.
Regenerated is a process, not an adjective on a swing tag
The house's catalogue sorts its Regenerated line by source material rather than by garment: silk scarves, denim, T-shirt patchwork, tartan scarves, moire, household linens. Household linen is not a fabric a studio orders from a mill. It is something somebody already owned, so the pattern gets cut out of what can be found rather than a bolt of what was wanted. Around half of each show, by the house's own account, is upcycled. The consequence is inconvenient: a regenerated garment is a single garment, and the house says so, that each piece is unique with variations possible in prints and colours. Buy it in a room, in your hands, or accept a lottery.
The regenerated end of the Toronto rail is thin. On 30 August the shop held a silk scarves scrunchie at $230 and a regenerated jersey short sleeve polo at $479. Everything else carrying the moon was printed or woven from new cloth.
Why second skin fits the way it does
The second skin jersey runs 88 per cent polyamide to 12 per cent elastane, nearly all of it recycled and GRS certified on the house's spec sheet. That second number is the one that matters. It is why a single piece is cut XS to XXL, and why the model on the house's crewneck page stands 178 centimetres in a size S.
The pieces are finished the way swimwear is: reinforced neckline, raw edges at cuff and hem. Nothing here can be shortened by a tailor without losing that edge, which makes the alterations WDLT117 includes on regular priced garments beside the point. Choose for length and shoulder coverage. The elastane settles the width without being asked.
Europe's trademark office called the moon merely decorative, and ten years of buyers disagreed.
One more thing the house prints and stockists rarely repeat: the fabric releases plastic microfibres into the environment when washing. A recycled fibre is still plastic.

The honest question about a print this loud
A signal this legible ages on a schedule, and anyone spending $455 on a printed crewneck deserves the reservation rather than the enthusiasm. The moon has been in circulation since 2016, longer than most graphic signatures survive, and a symbol that predates its own hype tends to outlast it. Against that: the all over print reads as a specific year at forty paces.
The rail itself offers the hedge. The moon jacquard cardigan in grey, $699 and marked down from $950, and the jacquard shorts at $525 say the same thing woven into the cloth rather than printed on top, tonal at close range and invisible from across a subway platform. The ribbed logo tank at $260 puts the moon in one small place. Our read: the jacquards and the rib will still look deliberate in 2029, and the printed pieces are bought with your eyes open about which season you are buying.
Before you go up there
Settle the returns before you pay, because they are stricter than the internet has trained you to expect. WDLT117 takes returns as exchange or store credit only, within 14 days, unworn with tags intact, and refunds neither cash nor return shipping. That was the policy on its refund page in August 2026, and several categories are final sale outright. Hence trying two sizes on in the room.
The shop books one on one stylist appointments and runs WDLT117-To-Go, dropping up to six items from its website at your home to try on. The doors around it have their own guide. Our stake, since you are entitled to ask: the shop keeps its own register and its own money and we take a commission only on what we sell, set out here.
Common questions
Where can I buy Marine Serre in Toronto?
Marine Serre is stocked at WDLT117, 7 St Thomas Street, Unit 101. On 30 August 2026 our own database counted 35 published Marine Serre products there with 79 variants in stock, priced from $49 for socks to $1,999 for outerwear, with the clothing itself starting around $230. Call 437.777.9358 to check a size before you make the trip.
What does regenerated mean on a Marine Serre label?
Regenerated means the garment was built from material that already existed rather than from new cloth. The house sorts the line by source material, among them silk scarves, denim, household linens and T-shirt patchwork, and states that around half of each show is upcycled. Because the cloth is found rather than ordered, the house warns that each piece is unique, with variations possible in prints and colours.
How does Marine Serre second skin fit?
Marine Serre second skin pieces fit tight to the body because the jersey runs 88 per cent polyamide to 12 per cent elastane, nearly all of it recycled. The house lists them XS to XXL, and on its own product page a model of 178 centimetres wears a size S. The cuffs and hem are raw edged, so buy for length and shoulder coverage and let the stretch handle the width.
