Is Mytheresa legit? Who owns it, duty and returns

It sells new stock bought from the labels, and its parent trades on the New York Stock Exchange. For a Canadian buyer the useful part is the money: duty is already in the price, and returns are free for 30 days.

Who owns Mytheresa?

LuxExperience. Mytheresa closed its purchase of YOOX Net-a-Porter from Richemont in April 2025, then renamed the group. Net-a-Porter, Mr Porter and Yoox now sit beside Mytheresa under one owner.

Its brand list includes Bottega Veneta, Loewe, Loro Piana and The Row.

Do you pay duty on Mytheresa to Canada?

Not at the door. Mytheresa's Canadian shipping page says duties and handling fees are built into the item price, with GST, PST or HST added at checkout.

Shipping is CA$30 by DHL or FedEx, 2 to 4 business days, and free on orders over CA$600. Our note on duty on clothes into Canada sets out what other shops leave to the courier.

Can you return to Mytheresa for free?

Yes, within 30 days of receipt, sale pieces included. Final Sale pieces, gift cards and custom pieces cannot go back.

Pieces must be unworn, with tags, boxes and dust bags. Each order gets one prepaid DHL label, so send everything in one parcel, from the country it was shipped to. A Canadian refund includes the duty and tax you paid.
