When do Jordan 11 Space Jams come out? Date and price

Nike's own announcement on 8 October said the Jordan Brand x Space Jam collection was scheduled to start on 5 November, thirty years after the film. December is when the 11 itself is expected. The choice is whether to wait for the new pair or buy an older one.

What is new on the 2026 Space Jam 11

Nike describes the Air Jordan 11 Retro OG as a near replica of the original Air Jordan 11 worn in Space Jam. It lists three details: double row stitching on the 23 heel, a "Jumpman Jam" tongue label, and a recreation of the Michael Jordan face box from the shoe's 2000 release.

The tongue is the detail collectors will look at first. Sole Retriever reports that "Jumpman Jam" returns for the first time since the 2000 release. Nike confirms the 23 heel detail on the new Retro OG; older releases should be checked against their own year.

The 2026 pair is the first since 2000 to say "Jumpman Jam" on the tongue.

It is not the only Space Jam shoe coming. Nike's release lists five new Air Jordan 11 designs, among them a women's "Magic Ball" whose upper shifts among four colours, and an all green "Green Screen". An Air Jordan 3 Retro "Space Jam" is in the collection too.

When and where to buy the 2026 pair

Kicks Finder lists the release for Saturday 12 December 2026, on Nike SNKRS and at retailers including Foot Locker and Champs in the US. Sole Retriever says Nike and select retailers, online and in store.

What older Space Jam 11s cost in Toronto

On 31 October 2026 the Jordan shelf held at least eight Space Jam 11s, at parlor23 and Utopia, CAD 150 to 500.

The 2009 pair was the dearest: CAD 500 at parlor23, US men's 9.5. A 2016 pair at parlor23 asked CAD 330 in US 9.

Utopia had six pre owned 2016 pairs. With the box, they asked CAD 350 to 400: size 8.5 and size 9.5 at CAD 350, size 11 at CAD 400. Without the original box, they dropped to CAD 200 in size 9 and CAD 150 in size 11.5.

The listings differ in size and condition as well as packaging. A lower price on a no box pair is not proof that the box alone accounts for the gap.

Wait for 2026, or buy an older pair?

Wait for December if you want the movie pair: the 23 heel, the Jumpman Jam tongue and the face box. That is the version Nike built to match the film.

Buy a pre owned 2016 now if you want Space Jams on your feet this winter and you wear a 9 or an 11.5. At CAD 150 to 200 without the box, it costs less than the new pair's USD 235 retail, before tax and exchange. Skip the 2009 pair unless you collect years; at CAD 500 it is the most expensive way to get the colourway.

How to check a Space Jam 11 before you pay

Start with the year, because the years carry different prices. Ask the seller for the box label and match the year in the listing to it. A pair sold without its box, like three of the the boutique listings, should say so in the title, as those do.

Ask for photos of the tongue, the heel and the sole. On a 2026 pair the tongue should read "Jumpman Jam" and the heel should carry 23, by Nike's description.
