About RUOHAN
RUOHAN is a Chinese womenswear label that Ruohan Nie founded in March 2021. Nie graduated from Parsons School of Design and worked at The Row, Melitta Baumeister and La Garçonne before starting it. Its first collection came out for Autumn/Winter 2021. It first showed its work in Shanghai during the Spring/Summer 2022 season. The label keeps to modern minimalism and neutral colours, with close attention to fabric and precise tailoring. It joined the official Paris Fashion Week calendar in the Spring/Summer 2023 season and has shown there twice a year since. For Spring 2026 Nie used coated fabrics such as wax cupro, with knits that mix cashmere, mohair and silk.
