Retail is far lower, when you can get one. Ross Dwyer called USD 168 "the standard MSRP for most box logo hoodies" in Hypebeast in March 2023. A new one at CAD 400 (USD 283) is about USD 115 over that.

What each box logo hoodie costs

Prices in US dollars are what the same shop shows on its US pages. Each listing is the last one.

The FW25 Realtree camo, the red and the white are the cheapest new ones, at CAD 400. The FW24 multicolour is the cheapest of all, worn once, at CAD 250.

The black from fall 2016 shows how much condition moves the price. A pre owned FW16 in large is CAD 400, a new FW16 in medium is CAD 500, and a second new listing is CAD 600. The camo is the one that doubles the base price, at CAD 800.

I would buy the red or the white at CAD 400 first. The new black FW16 is CAD 100 to 200 more, and all of that is paying for an older year.

The collaborations and special runs

Six more hoodies carry a box logo with another name attached. A Comme des Garçons SHIRT version in black, medium, is CAD 500 (USD 354), and it is one of the better deals on the shelf.

The Swarovski navy comes pre owned at CAD 400 or worn once at CAD 500, both medium.

The most expensive are the MM6 Maison Margiela zip ups, both in small: the black is CAD 1,100 (USD 779) and the navy CAD 1,500 (USD 1,063).

Retail was USD 168. The new red one on this shelf is USD 283.

What retail tells you

Alec Leach wrote in Highsnobiety in August 2017 that a box logo hoodie was USD 148 at retail and averaged USD 450 to 500 on Grailed. Six years later Ross Dwyer put retail at USD 168.

So the new plain hoodies here, USD 283 to 425 before the camo, are under that 2017 Grailed average. Remember that if someone quotes you more for a plain black.

Supreme prints no advice on sizing up or down. It publishes garment measurements for each hoodie instead, and they change each season.
