Jun Takahashi started Undercover in Tokyo while still a fashion student, and he sang in a Sex Pistols cover band. Teppei Fujita worked as a pattern maker before he started Sulvam, which takes classic tailoring apart and leaves raw edges. COOR is a menswear label from Seoul, while Song for the Mute develops some of its own fabrics with mills in Japan, Italy and France.
