Rock style is dressing taken from rock music: black leather jackets, worn denim, band T shirts, boots and silver jewelry, mostly in black, indigo and silver. Chrome Hearts started in a Los Angeles garage in nineteen eighty eight to make leather jackets, and it is known for silver jewelry and its cross logo. Amiri is the Los Angeles label of Mike Amiri, who made stage clothes for musicians before he started it. Dr. Martens brought out its eight eyelet boot with yellow stitching in Britain in nineteen sixty, and skinheads and then punks took it up.
