About Kith
Ronnie Fieg opened Kith in New York in 2011, with two shops in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Fieg grew up in Queens and started at 13 as a stock boy at David Z, a New York shoe store. In 2007 his three ASICS Gel Lyte III colourways, the 252 Pack, sold out in a day. The name comes from the phrase kith and kin, meaning friends and family. Kith started as a shoe retailer and grew into its own clothing, with collaborations with Nike, Tommy Hilfiger, Versace and BMW. Kith Treats, a cereal bar, opened inside the Brooklyn store in 2015. In August 2025 Kith held Institution, its first runway show since 2019, outside its Manhattan flagship.
