The name came from its first photo, a skater in the air under palm trees. Ragazzi had been artistic director at Moncler. The label mixes Los Angeles skate culture with Italian tailoring. Signatures include tracksuits with striped sleeves, flame and palm tree graphics, gothic lettering and Kill The Bear, a headless teddy bear graphic. In February 2025 Bluestar Alliance bought Palm Angels, and Ragazzi left.
