About Purple Brand
Purple Brand started in Vancouver, founded by a group of friends that included Luke Cosby and Rob Lo. It is a denim label built on design, construction and detail. In 2023 Cosby said skinny fits still made up 80% of its sales. He pointed new buyers to the 001 skinny jean in black, and said many customers move on to its full flare. He also said the label works with craftspeople, mostly in China and Italy, in factories run for generations. The jeans carry distressed finishes, bleached washes and patchwork. Leather jackets and hoodies have joined the denim. By 2023 it had a showroom in SoHo, New York, and its first store opened there in 2024. In July 2026 it launched its first shoe, a sneaker inspired by tennis.
