Banff Outfits
Down parkas, shearling outerwear, and weather boots for mountain days and cold evenings in the Canadian Rockies.
Banff outfits balance heavy mountain insulation with clean city lines, matching thermal warmth to alpine weather across the Canadian Rockies. Down outerwear and shearling coats anchor every look, layered over dense wool knits and relaxed denim. Black, blue, white, cream and navy lead the colours on this wall.
Moncler began in the early fifties in Monestier de Clermont, a mountain village near Grenoble, making padded sleeping bags and tents, and its first down jackets were made for its own workers. Parajumpers, an Italian label started by Massimo Rossetti, takes its name from the parajumpers, or PJs, of an Alaska rescue squadron, after he met one of them in Anchorage. Mackage began in Montreal with outerwear in leather, down and wool.
Outerwear forms the foundation, paired with merino knits and straight trousers for the move from snowy trails to timber lodges. Due West in Toronto brings most of this wall, with Moose Knuckles, Mackage and Canada Goose parkas and down jackets. Utopia in Toronto adds Moncler and The North Face down jackets, many pre owned, and WDLT117 in Toronto brings Heliot Emil puffers and Patou denim shearling jackets.
