Fall Outfits
Autumn layers from independent boutiques, with wool knits, light jackets, overshirts, trousers, and boots for men and women.
Fall outfits rely on balanced weight and texture, combining tailored outerwear with soft wool knits and relaxed trousers to handle shifting temperatures. Heavy corduroy, shearling collars, and boiled wool create structure while keeping the body warm through crisp mornings and cool evenings. Earth tones like olive and deep brown anchor these layers alongside rich navy and black.
Tweed, a rough wool cloth from Scotland, Ireland and Wales, stands up to damp and hard wear, which made it a cloth for shooting and hunting. Mackage, founded in Montreal by Eran Elfassy and Elisa Dahan, began with leather jackets and now makes wool coats and parkas. Undercover brings wool blazers and jackets, and RUOHAN, the womenswear label Ruohan Nie started in the early twenty twenties, keeps to exact tailoring and a mostly neutral palette.
Heavy coats pair naturally with pleated trousers, oversized knitwear, and crisp cotton shirts. WDLT117 in Toronto brings deconstructed tailoring and tactile knitwear, while Due West in Toronto adds Mackage and Canada Goose down coats along with knitwear and leather. Utopia in Toronto adds Chrome Hearts, Supreme and Aime Leon Dore, some pre owned.
