Description Taking inspiration from vintage styling, these oversized oval sunglasses from Linda Farrow are handmade from an elegant combination of 18-22 carat yellow gold-plated titanium and hand polished tea rose Japanese acetate. Featuring contrasting brown gradient nylon lenses, white gold-plated lightweight titanium runs along the back of the acetate frame and into the temples, finished with characteristic curved Japanese bulb tips and adjustable nose pads for added comfort. Signature raised pins and the Linda Farrow logo on the inverted side of the temple completes this timeless design. Her pioneering use of shape helped move eyewear into high-fashion territory, with avant-garde styles favoured by stars like Yoko Ono and working with brands such as Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Balenciaga and Sonia Rykiel. Today, revived by her son Simon and operating under the original LINDA FARROW name, the brand is renowned for collaborating with some of the world’s most acclaimed designers – Area, Y/Project, The Attico, Dries van Noten amongst many others, constantly bringing a new perspective to the brand.
