Shopping in Yorkville.

Two layers on the same few blocks. Bloor Street West carries the international luxury flagships; one block north, Cumberland Street, Yorkville Avenue, Scollard Street and Hazelton Avenue are Victorian townhouses holding independent multi-brand boutiques, luxury consignment and jewellers. It is the only downtown district where within has shelves of its own, and both of them stand on that second layer rather than on Bloor.

Getting here

Bay station on Line 2 sits at the middle of the district: a 1-minute walk. Bloor-Yonge (Lines 1 and 2) is 0.28 km east and Museum (Line 1) 0.52 km south-west. No streetcar route comes within 320 m; this is a subway district.

Where it runs

City of Toronto: generally bounded by Avenue Road on the west, Scollard Street and Davenport Road on the north, St. Paul's Square and Church Street on the east, and Charles Street East and St. Mary's Street on the south. The BIA's own shorter wording is 'Church Street to the west side of Avenue Road and from Scollard Street to Charles Street'. Expanded in 2020 to take in 15 Charles Street East. The 'Mink Mile' is the Bloor Street West stretch inside this same boundary, not a district of its own.
