UJOH for men
UJOH is a Japanese label that Mitsuru and Aco Nishizaki founded in 2009. Mitsuru, who was born in Fukui Prefecture, studied at Tokyo Mode Gakuen and then spent seven years as a pattern cutter at Y's and Yohji Yamamoto. That training shows in the label's tailoring and bold cutting, and its signatures include layering and tab ties. The label is known for pieces that can be worn more than one way, such as shirts that button at the front and the back. It won the DHL Designer Award at Tokyo fashion week in 2015 and showed in Milan in 2016 with support from Giorgio Armani. UJOH added a men's line in 2019 and has shown at Paris Fashion Week since its fall 2021 collection.
