Ellery in Switzerland

Ellery began in Sydney in 2007. Kym Ellery, who grew up in Perth, founded it at 23. The label made its name with sculptural, Seventies inspired womenswear, flared trousers and tailored outerwear. Kym Ellery moved to Paris in 2015. Ellery became the third Australian label recognised by the body that runs Paris Fashion Week. In April 2019 it closed two Sydney stores and said its Australian business, including its Chippendale factory, would end. Its later clothes were made in Italy, with fabrics from mills in Italy, South Korea, France and Switzerland. Since 2023 Kym Ellery has focused on furniture and sculpture in stainless steel, brass and metallic resin. Gagosian at Home in Paris showed her work in 2025.More
