Gymshark is a gym wear label founded in Birmingham, England, in 2012 by school friends Ben Francis and Lewis Morgan. It began by drop shipping bodybuilding supplements from its website. Francis was a student at Aston University at the time. He made the first garments by hand in his parents' garage with a sewing machine and a screen printer. In May 2013 the label brought its Luxe tracksuit to the BodyPower expo. Its website then took more sales in half an hour than in its whole history before. Its women's range Flex was later joined by Vital and Adapt. Gymshark is based in Solihull, and it opened its first store on Regent Street in London in October 2022.
