Walk in Paris was born in Paris in 2013. Fashion Network reports that Gary Neveu started it with the dancer Léo Walk, and the label says its clothes sit between 1970s dressing and 1990s hip hop.
Its slogan is Create your own heritage, and the label reaches past clothes: Walk Tape Vol.1 brought together French speaking artists. Paraboot and Walk in Paris began working together in 2018, and the first Walk in Paris shoe was a reworked Paraboot Yosemite. The label also sells berets and leather jackets made with Schott NYC.
Its first Paris shop opened on 21 May 2022 at 32 rue Yves Toudic, by the Canal Saint Martin. The Walk in Paris Odyssée series gives a city a capsule of clothes, pictures, videos and a pop up shop, from Seoul to Cairo by way of Bangkok.
