Saint Mxxxxxx, read as Saint Michael, began in 2019 as a project between Yuta Hosokawa and Cali Thornhill DeWitt. Hosokawa designs READYMADE, the Japanese label he launched in 2013 to remake vintage clothes. DeWitt is an artist and designer born in British Columbia and based in Los Angeles. The label was first shown at a Paris showroom in January 2020. That first collection was made in Japan and modelled on clothes from the 1940s and 1950s. Every piece was painted and distressed by hand, and no two were the same. For Fall/Winter 2025 it made tees with A Bathing Ape, the fourth time the two labels have worked together.
