Glass Cypress is a menswear label from Houston, Texas, founded in 2016 by brothers Saber and Samee Ahmed. It began as a line of screen printed tees. The brothers were raised in Houston by Bangladeshi parents, and the label's techniques draw on that heritage. Bangladeshi craftspeople make every piece. The clothes are hand embroidered and naturally dyed. One technique is Nakshi kantha, a centuries old hand embroidery that Saber compares to Japanese boro stitching.
