About Mackage

Eran Elfassy and Elisa Dahan founded Mackage in Montreal in 1999. It began with women's coats in leather, down and wool, then added men's coats in 2008, children's in 2012 and handbags in 2013. A share purchase in 2016 gave a company with American, Korean and Canadian interests the majority, and the head office stayed in Montreal.
Mackage designs on Chabanel Street in Montreal, and the McCord Stewart Museum's fashion encyclopedia notes that its pieces are made outside Canada. The Kay, one of the women's Mackage coats, runs XXS to 2XL, and the charts for the rest of the line are on the Mackage size page.
Read the composition line before you pay, because some Mackage styles still carry real fur, as the label's own pages show. The Kay-F has a collar of Finland raccoon fur, while the Kay-NFR lists none in its composition.
