Arpa Studios
Arpa Studios launched in Paris in November 2021, as a fragrance brand and research project on scent and synaesthesia. Its founder is the perfumer Barnabé Fillion, who has made scents for Aesop and trained under Christine Nagel. His fragrances begin with blurry images, colours and sketches. The name comes from the muse of poetry and the ARP synthesizer. The first sequence holds seven scents, and seven artists each composed a piece of music for one of them. Glass artist Jochen Holz shapes the bottles. A second sequence of three iris scents, Kōsai, Piel and Kapsel, premiered in Paris in January 2025.
