About Carne Bollente

Carne Bollente launched in 2015, and the label says it was born in central Paris. Théodore Famery, a French entrepreneur, founded it with Agoston Palinko, a Hungarian illustrator, and Hijiri Endo from Japan, who runs the selling side. It began as a joke between friends, with embroidered T-shirts and 200 euros from each of them.
The name is Italian for boiling flesh. It has given pieces, and a share of its online shop's sales, to groups such as AIDES and ACCEPTESS. Fashion Network reported that in 2023 it sold to about a hundred shops in 35 countries, and that export made up 80% of its sales.
Its unisex pieces are made in northern Portugal from organic cotton. On its own shop a 186 cm male model wears a size M T-shirt and a 176 cm female model wears an XS. A T-shirt costs 80 euros there.
