Women's Givenchy
Hubert de Givenchy founded his label in Paris in 1952. His first collection, Les Séparables, included the Bettina blouse, a white shirt named for the model Bettina Graziani. He met Audrey Hepburn in 1953. She wore his clothes on screen and off, in films such as Sabrina, Funny Face and Breakfast at Tiffany's. In 1957 the label launched its first perfume, L'Interdit, which Givenchy made for Hepburn. LVMH bought the label in 1988. The British designer Sarah Burton was named creative director in September 2024, for both womenswear and menswear. In March 2026 she presented her fall winter 2026 women's collection, which drew on Northern European old master painting.
