OVO, short for October's Very Own, is the Toronto clothing label of Drake and his manager Oliver El-Khatib. El-Khatib wrote the OVO blog, which started in April 2008. The first major OVO piece was a Chilliwack parka made with Canada Goose, released on 13 November 2010. The first OVO and Roots piece, an all black varsity jacket, followed in July 2011. The logo is an owl, and typed out, the letters OvO look like one. The first OVO store opened in downtown Toronto on 6 December 2014. A 2016 collection ran to basketball shorts, jerseys, baggy hoodies and track jackets. OVO has also worked with Air Jordan, the NBA and the NHL.
