About Represent

Brothers George and Mike Heaton founded Represent in Manchester, England, in 2011. It began as a college project, with George screen printing his graphics onto blank clothes he bought locally. The name came from a list of 15 random names, and a friend told George to cut the ending off Representing.
The label grew on Owners Club, which started with its first hoodie in 2021. A year before that it launched Blank, plain pieces in the mainline fits with no graphics. Its rock tees came from band deals with Motorhead and Ozzy Osbourne in 2020, and later Metallica, Oasis, Iron Maiden and Guns N' Roses.
The 247 line grew from the 247 pant of 2020, a military pant in technical fabric for the gym and the street. Represent runs its own stores on Wardour Street in London and Exchange Square in Manchester, and in April 2024 it opened one on North Robertson Boulevard in West Hollywood.
In Toronto, Due West at 431 Queen St W, a stop for Queen Street West shopping, carries Represent. On 13 October 2026 its hoodies ran from $131 to $194 and its shirts from $67 to $208, with jackets and coats from $223 to $420. Half of the shelf cost $138 or less, and some pieces were marked down from the shop's own price.
