In 2003 he moved to Paris with Michèle Lamy, whom he married in 2006. His lines include DRKSHDW, and his work is known for draping and bias cut patterns. His Geobasket sneaker is a high top with an oversized tongue and wrap around laces. In June 2025 the Palais Galliera in Paris opened Temple of Love, a retrospective of his work.
