In 2013 adidas signed Yeezy, the label of Kanye West, now known as Ye, away from Nike. The first adidas Yeezy shoe, the Boost 750, came out in February 2015. Yeezy Season 1 showed at New York Fashion Week that same month. Yeezy Gap, a line of hoodies, tracksuits and jackets, launched in June 2021. In February 2022 it added Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga, made with Demna, then Balenciaga's creative director. Some of those pieces carry a dove motif. West ended the Gap deal in September 2022. In October 2022 adidas ended its deal with him and stopped making Yeezy products. Since then Yeezy has sold its own pieces, including the Pods sock shoe from December 2023.
